First create a shortcut for the ULS viewer then in target give the location of the 14 hive log path with the command realtime as shown below:
C:\UlsViewer.exe -realtime:"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS"
and its done.....
Yo can view a realtime log in ULS viewer.
